VOAD Guiding Principles

COOPERATION – Foster cooperation among members at all levels and in all phases of a disaster.

COORDINATION – Coordinate the development of our policies and procedures and the implementation of services among our members.

VC-VOAD will serve as an advocate and liaison between members, the Emergency Operations Center, and local government first responders.

COMMUNICATION – Exchange and disseminate information among members, the public, and local, state, and federal agencies in conjunction with the individual VC-VOAD members.

​

COLLABORATION – We dedicate ourselves to working together to achieve specific goals and undertake specific projects at disaster sites. We form partnerships during disaster response.
