That is why Ventura County VOAD (VCVOAD) is proud to bring you Ventura County Prepares! - a community-based resource list with emergency
preparedness information and resources offered by
members for the communities they serve.

What is Ventura County VOAD?
Your Ventura County Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (VCVOAD) is a collaborative network that has served our community through the Thomas Fire, Mountain Fire, severe winter storms, and more throughout the last 20 years
We coordinate almost fifty organizational Members | Ventura County VOAD – all committed to keeping Ventura County safe and resilient!
VOADs across the country are collaborations that establish, foster, and maintain relationships among faith- and community-based, private sector and philanthropic organizations that voluntarily collaborate and communicate amongst each other and with government emergency agencies to avoid duplication of efforts and increase the impact of direct recovery services after disaster. By coordinating with each other and with wider emergency response and recovery directives issued by the Ventura County Office of Emergency Services, we help communities plan for, respond to, and recover from disasters.
